Reports to: Principal

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

New opening for the 2026-2027 school year. St. Mary's is seeking a Catholic educator with in-depth knowledge of teaching best practices and educational processes who is willing accept the call to ministry in a Catholic School. This position is a combination of Art and STEM instruction. Responsibilities include planning and executing lessons and activities across a range of grade levels, including grades PK through 8th.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will exhibit a love of learning and a dedication to providing an education that nurtures students' hearts and minds. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, our ideal candidate will also be able to model the Gospel message through words and actions in the course of his or her day. Familiarity with instructional technology and basic technology skills are required for this position.

Education and Experience
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in education and a valid Nebraska teaching certificate. Experience is preferred, but not required.
All teachers and staff who work with children and youth are required to have Safe Environment Certification or the willingness to become certified through the Archdiocese of Omaha Safe Environment program.
