Job Description

• As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for validating resilient communications and V2X solutions for autonomous earthmoving platforms.
• You will manage functional diagrams, schematics, and specifications from beginning to end.
• Your role will involve developing comprehensive test strategies, including creating and updating test plans, defining scenarios, and executing test cases in various environments such as labs, pickup trucks, and machines.
• You will also manage requirements in Jama, ensuring traceability, change control, and stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborating across autonomy teams, you will contribute to delivering connectivity solutions that support reliable teleoperation and autonomy on a large scale.
• Additionally, you will work to continuously improve verification systems and workflows to enhance reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Validate resilient communications and V2X solutions for autonomous earthmoving platforms, managing functional diagrams, schematics, and specifications.
• Develop test strategies: create/update test plans, define scenarios, and execute test cases in lab, pickup truck, and on-machine environments.
• Own requirements in Jama-manage traceability, change control, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborate with autonomy teams to deliver connectivity solutions for reliable teleoperation and autonomy.
• Continuously improve verification systems and workflows to enhance reliability and safety.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in an accredited engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in designing and developing connectivity systems (networking/comms).
• Excellent analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex technical problems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in network architecture/design (public LTE/5G, bonded cellular, routing).
• Hands-on systems integration experience.
• Experience with Linux (system bring-up, configuration, diagnostics).
• Experience in test plan design, execution, and automation for edge/embedded systems.
