Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift Options:
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate:
• Local: $2,100 weekly
• Travel: $2,500 weekly
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Radiation Therapist for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.
ResponsibilitiesAdminister radiation therapy treatments per physician directives
Educate and support patients throughout their treatment process
Assist physicians during simulation and treatment planning sessions
Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
Perform daily machine warm-ups, calibration checks, and report malfunctions
Schedule patients using electronic systems
Communicate effectively with patients, nurses, and physicians
Calculate radiation doses as needed
Monitor patients for treatment reactions and report concerns promptly
Reinforce instructions for managing treatment-related side effects
Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols
Support and guide radiation therapy students when applicable
Maintain daily billing accuracy
Organize patient schedules, films, and treatment records
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with implant procedures and maintain safety documentation
Complete required continuing education
Perform other related duties as assigned
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program — Required
Massachusetts Radiation Therapy Technologist License — Required
A.R.R.T. Registration (within one year of graduation acceptable) — Required
Current CPR Certification — Required
