Position Name: Program Manager

Remote or On-site: Must be within commuting distance to Raleigh headquarters. This is a requirement to convert to FT.

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM EST - 5:00 PM EST, Occasional weekend work may be required.

Interview : 2-3 rounds

Must have: Google cloud migration experience.
Looking for a Program Manager for GCP migration - will be working with client system integration partner, and google. Will manage these 3 entities and keep leadership up to date.

Role Description

The program manager leads multiple workstreams and / or project teams simultaneously. Work on larger or more complex projects and programs that cross organizational boundaries. Senior PgMs do not duplicate the work of project managers or leads, but provide a higher level and wider scope of management to programs as well as to the organization they belong. They have the authority to run projects on a day-to-day basis and delegate tasks to individual project managers, project team members, business and financial analysts. Senior program managers have considerable expertise to contribute specialized process improvement initiatives. Have management experience with project delivery that span across business units

Must have skills

Project management certification (PMI/CAPM or PMP/PgMP, PRINCE2) Or Agile (SAFe/Scrum)/ Lean Six Sigma Certifications

Hand on experience in Project management tools Stakeholder Management

Project reporting and governing the scope, cost, schedules and resources.

Good to have skills

Experience in MS Project, Service Now ITBM, SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence

Understanding & application of Agile/ Lean/ 6s principles

MBA Min Qualification Graduation Experience 10-18 Years in IT Project Management space Roles &

Responsibilities Primary duties of these positions consist of:

1. The application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications;

2. The design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications;

3. The design, documentation, testing, creation or modification of computer programs related to machine operating systems; or

4. A combination of the aforementioned duties, the performance of which requires the same level of skills.

Identifies, assesses and manages risks for the success of the program

Prepares and maintains program level summary view of workstream and project plans and tracks key milestones and deliverables against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports as appropriate.

Monitors costs, timescales and resources used, and initiaties corrective actions where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensures that deliverables are implemented within these criteria. Manages the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the program scope from key stakeholders.

Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the program to ensure continuous value delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Define realistic goals and objectives with individual project managers and other stakeholders.

Provide leadership by building and motivating teams to meet their project goals by adhering to their responsibilities and reaching their milestones.

Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization

Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes

Supervise all program and project managers involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems

Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people

Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed

Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies

Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations
