Job Description

Join a growing manufacturing team as a 2nd Shift Operations Supervisor ! You'll lead production operations, ensure quality and safety, and support a hardworking crew. This hands-on role oversees machine utilization, troubleshooting, and shipping/receiving activities to keep production running smoothly.

Contract to Hire or Direct Hire opportunity
Location: Wickliffe, OH
Pay Rate: $21-$24/hour based on experience, plus $1.50 shift differential
Shift: 2 nd shift working Monday-Thursday, 3pm-130am, with ability to work OT on Friday

Duties/Responsibilities

• Lead and direct shift on production efficiency, maximum machine utilization and minimum downtime.
• Oversee quality of product produced.
• Conduct first part inspection.
• Responsible for ensuring maintenance and housekeeping of plant, production facilities, and equipment.
• Train new employees as to their job function and coach employees to manage their work properly.
• Provide proper paper documentation to the operators for their various scheduled jobs.
• Assist in setup and instruction as needed.
• Enforce all rules and regulations set forth by the company.
• Attend necessary pre and post shift planning meetings coordinating information with other shifts.
• Troubleshoot problems, consult higher management when necessary.
• Complete daily production charts and monitor parts per hour.
• Enforce work hours, quality , and safety policies.

Skills/Qualifications

• 2 years' experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing plant.
• Good communication and math skills.
• Previous knowledge of roll forming mills and/or stamping presses preferred.
• Computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
