Cabinet IQ — one of the fastest-growing kitchen and bath design brands in the country is expanding into the Kansas City, MO metro with a brand-new showroom opening in early 2026. We’re looking for a Lead Kitchen Designer who’s creative, detail-driven, and ready to help homeowners design and build their dream spaces.

This is an immediate-hire position based in our Lee’s Summit territory, with flexible full-time hours and a clear growth path as our showroom and design team grow.

What You’ll Do:

• Meet with homeowners (in-home or at showroom) to understand their vision, needs, and style preferences.
• Capture accurate site measurements and translate them into stunning, functional kitchen layouts.
• Create and present professional designs using 2020 Design / Design Flex (or similar CAD software).
• Prepare detailed orders for cabinetry, countertops, and finishes, ensuring seamless handoff to operations.
• Guide clients through selections with confidence, honesty, and a focus on creating exceptional experiences.
• Contribute to showroom setup, marketing initiatives, and community engagement as we build our local brand.

Who You Are:

• Experienced in kitchen and bath design, ideally with a working knowledge of 2020 or similar platforms.
• Comfortable collaborating directly with homeowners — listening first, advising second, and leading with integrity.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple design projects at once.
• Naturally curious as someone who enjoys learning new products, software, and design techniques.
• Looking for a long-term home where your creativity and accountability are valued.
