At sunrise in Southeast Houston, you roll in at 7:00 a.m. and walk the floor. You listen for the tell-tale hum of generators, check the pulse of small diesel engines, and scan electrical and hydraulic systems for anything out of tune. By mid-morning, you’ve diagnosed a finicky fuel issue, swapped a worn component, and brought a line back online. It’s steady, hands-on work that keeps production moving—and you at the center of it.

• Title: Mechanic (Industrial Equipment)
• Location: Southeast Houston
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Pay: $20–$25 per hour
• Duration: Temp-to-hire

What you’ll work on

• Repair and maintain equipment used throughout a manufacturing plant.
• Diagnose and service small diesel engines and generators .
• Troubleshoot and correct electrical faults and hydraulic issues.

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or automotive repair.
• Strong diagnostic mindset and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
