Adecco Perm Recruitment s recruiting on behalf of our client in the **Charleston, SC** area for the position of **Hydraulic Mechanic** to join a dynamic manufacturing team. **DIRECT HIRE~~Monday-Friday 1st shift 7a-430, incredible benefits, great pay, awesome culture, low turnover!!** + **Bonuses-Yearly and Quarterly depending on profitability** + **Paid Health, Dental, Vision for employee** + **Shoe Allowance** + **Company uniforms** + **Profit Sharing** + **AD&D Life** + **401k** + **PTO** + **Profit Sharing** The primary responsibility of the **Hydraulic Mechanic** is to provide expert service for a range of cylinders, pumps, motors, and power units; including troubleshooting, evaluation, repair and assembly. You must be able to: + Diagnose problems and present recommendations for repairs + Use schematics and diagnostic equipment to investigate hydraulic or pneumatic system problems + Tear down, evaluate and repair cylinders, pumps, motors and power units + Inspect parts and various components. Determine if parts are re-conditionable and write service reports + Reassemble components when repair is complete and prepare for delivery to customer The qualified individual will have the following skills and experience: + Minimum of five years fluid power experience (hydraulic, pneumatic and/or electro-mechanical) or equivalent training + Ability to read hydraulic schematics + Ability to fully understand hydraulic systems - size and build - preferred + Basic mechanical abilities and /or formal mechanical training + Ability to use a variety of hand tools and operate jib cranes and forklifts without assistance + Ability to use various tools for measurement (micrometer, id micrometer, and calipers) + Ability to complete field service work independently + Ability to troubleshoot and properly diagnose failure of hydraulic systems and components + Ability to identify a wide range of fluid power manufacturers and to recognize their products and complete initial parts quoting + Regularly required to walk, sit, stand, crouch and lift + Overtime may be required during extended weekday hours or for plant shutdowns on weekends or during call rotation + International Fluid Power Society (IFPS) certification a plus **Pay Details:** $25.00 to $35.00 per hour Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance **Massachusetts Candidates Only:** It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
