JOB REQUIREMENTS: The City of Marinette is seeking a dedicated and
skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position supports the Public Works department and involves a variety of tasks including road maintenance and equipment operation. Public Works key duties include, but are not limited to: Operate construction and maintenance equipment including excavators, loaders, and trucks; Perform road repair, snow plowing, and general maintenance of streets and public infrastructure; Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Job Description: The typical work schedule is 40 hours a week, 7:00 am 3:30 pm (hours outside of normal schedule may vary based on seasonal and emergency response). Minimum of two (2) years of experience in equipment operation, road maintenance, or construction preferred. Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Availability for on-call work, especially during snow removal operations or emergency situations.
