ATC Healthcare is seeking a EMT with a minimum of 1 year of experience for immediate hire to join our warm, safe, and friendly team. Location: Asheville, NC Job Type: 13-Week Contract Job ID: AAHTRN931392 Pay: $26-27/hour depending on experience and unit worked Shifts Available: 12-hour shifts, Day Summary As an Emergency Medical Technician at ATC Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering emergency medical services to patients in need. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care and supporting healthcare facilities across the country. Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care and transport to patients in critical situations.
• Administer medications and manage airway procedures as needed.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions during transport.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment provided.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in emergency medicine.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience.
• Active BLS/CPR and TB Certification.
• Current EMT certification and relevant state licensure required.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and emergency medical protocols.
• Experience with medication administration and airway management is essential.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stress environments.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams.
